Maloorn - Landing Pad
A broad octagonal landing pad for sci-fi outposts, industrial compounds and military bases. Its open landing field is framed by structural buttresses, modeled perimeter lights, access panels and rear utility cabinets with routed conduits. The landing guidance and traction bars are physical geometry, ready for painting.
The kit includes four deck quarters, four underside bridge keys and one freestanding approach ramp. The deck measures 220 mm across flats, with a clear landing area approximately 160 mm across. Overall footprint including the ramp is 237 x 282 mm; maximum height is 36.5 mm. No aircraft is included.
Included: 9 unsupported STL files and eight product images. Digital download only; no physical product or scale-reference standee is included. Personal use only; do not redistribute or resell the files.
Unsupported STL files. Supports are not included. Supplied in millimetres for heroic 28–32 mm tabletop terrain. The largest deck quarters are approximately 118.3 x 118.3 x 36.5 mm. Print quarters separately, with the deck near vertical rather than flat across the build plate, leaving access to the open underside and key seats. A provisional compact-printer orientation fits within a 133 x 61 x 155 mm planning envelope including estimated support space; confirm your actual supported layout in the slicer. Preserve open underside access for washing and curing. Resizing changes small details and clearances.
Dry-fit the four deck quarters on a flat surface, with both utility cabinets at the rear. Align the center seams and landing ring. Insert the four bridge keys into the accessible underside seats, then glue after checking alignment. Place the separate approach ramp at the front. Nominal joint allowance is approximately 0.20 mm per side; adjust fit for your resin and settings.
