Short version: Minarium does not use AI. AI-powered search has been turned off and the data behind it has been deleted. Your files have never been used to train any AI system.
Here's the full story.
Minarium used to run AI-powered image search. When you listed a model, our systems read the preview images and renders you uploaded, the same pictures your customers saw on your store page, and converted them into a numeric representation that let search understand what was in them. That's what let someone type "armored dwarf with an axe" and find yours, instead of only matching whatever the file happened to be named.
That system has been switched off, and the data it generated has been deleted. Search and discovery now run on titles, tags, categories, and other listing information you provide directly.
While it ran, image processing went through a third-party vision service. Their terms excluded data sent through their API from being used to train their models, and we never opted in to any data sharing. Nobody could have rebuilt one of your sculpts from anything in that pipeline. There was no mesh in it.
Vault search has only ever worked on file names and metadata. The contents of your Archives have never been sent to any AI system, and that's not changing. Minarium will never use files stored in your Vault as AI training data. This is a permanent commitment, written into Section 16.8 of our Terms.
Any future use of AI by Minarium will be disclosed here and in our Terms of Service before it takes effect, in plain language, before it ships and not after.
